Hiram: ORTL dropped three points yesterday, while HLIT dropped two points. Today ORTL is back, HLIT is not. With these stocks it often hard to know what moves a stock: whole market jitters, market segment jitters, a major move to buy or sell a stock, etc., but I get the feeling there is unfavorable sentiment specific to HLIT beyond all that. That press release you copied on HLIT's Dense Wave Division Multiplexing (DWDM) system does seem very promising. I really like the three-day deployment of the system. With so much in favor (at least on paper) of such a system, what's to stop it from widespread application? Design time, cost, noise problems, cable company capital??
