Dear Lee - my suspicion is that earnings will only have an impact on the downside for the time being, i.e., any exceeding of expectation has less of an effect than a falling short of it. Well, it is always like that, but the magnitude will probably increase. My stock portfolio - small cap heavy, need I say more - is dead duck. My mutual funds are in automatic pilot. The cash I ve been accuminating this year remains in the money market account. But hey, when you ve dead duck, may as well make some tasty peking duck - please pass the hoy-hsin sauce, thank you <vbg>! best, Bosco
