TD. There are some banks that have major lines of credit to mutual fund houses to cover redemptions. Supposedly, this makes funds available to the mutual funds so that they don't have to sell into a down marekt. If there is a bad loan to be made, then the banks will find a way to make it. <g>

This pop is all part of the story I told yesterday. There was no capitulation in that down move of 500 points. Which meant the MMs and specialists simply played into their TA fantasies and hit all the right trigger points at the right time and suckered new blood in to take their own damaged goods.

I would hate to see any brain dead, trend following fund groups go under. <G>
