Christopher: Actually, I'm surprised about your dog. There is absolutely no news from/about Adaptec. When the market tumbled yesterday, it held well. When it rebounded today, it dipped then settled on no change. This suggests to me that no one wants to sell at this low price and no one wants to bid up the price without more information. Various former/current "insiders" on the Yahoo thread grumble about Adaptec's technology, focus, etc. It sounds like grumbling I hear in my organization on occasion. When given a forum to discuss things in an anonymous fashion, generally what you read is negative. I can't argue from a technical basis, but I have a pretty good sense of human nature. Not that that has protected me from the market, or your dog. Storm is approaching. The infestation of fruit flies over the past week was a warning about the market, I'm sure. I should have taken note. Starowl
