4th waves are tough to unravel. I think todays bounce off the Fibonnaci level at 30.45 means that wave 4 of this count is over. (the actual low was 30.625....close enough in this game)
It bounced nicely off the Bollinger Bands too. My other indicators are turning up nicely, though I would have liked to see more divergences set up, but this market is too fast.

Since this intermediate wave looks like an extended three, the next move up should be short and furious like intermediate wave one was. Targets that are calculated include a cluster at 40.04 and 40.49 and then the one, that would equal the run in intermediate wave one, at 48.04. Beyond that is the old original one at 51.03. (Intermediate waves are labelled in green and primary in purple on my charts.)

Fibonacci time ratios give Sept 6 as a possible point for one of these targets to get hit. That is a Sunday, so you have to work either side of that date. The overall market still looks shaky but Apple is probably out of the gate already.

After this up move Apple will have completed the primary wave three and will go into a longer uglier wave four, that will break a lot of hearts.

I will post a chart as soon as I am able...my web provider is still having problems.

Good luck

Support Group for AAQA and AAPL nail biters.

Yikes! What timing!

Markets re-open January 4 as usual, then

Jobs' keynote address will take place from 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. at the Moscone Convention Center in the Esplanade Ballroom on Jan. 5, 1999. macworldexpo.com

Ah! What will he say? Something "insanely great?"
Will the January Effect be in full-tilt?

Jan 13th Apple announces earnings after the bell. Jan 15 is Options Expiration.

YIKES!!!! I'm biting my nails already, and I can feel the "drip drip drip" of the time value of my Jan 40 calls dripping down the drain as my greed throttles up hopping that we rapidly bust through $44 on news, causing shorts to bail and momentum players to pile on... all of this with a max pain analysis prediction of $30... but the memory of another options expiration where earnings stunned everyone and the truly iron-gutted (not me) made out like bandits.

AIEEEE! Anyone still have this thread bookmarked, and need a support group for the next three weeks?
