I never saw it. When super rich superstars like Clapton
or the Rolling Stones 'sell out' their music is bothers me.
When musicians who don't make the big bucks do it, I can't
blame them. Van Halen falls somewhere in the middle IMO.
I'd have to see/hear it to comment more. I'm waiting to
see a car/truck/SUV commercial to the Dead's Truckin.
Now that Garcia's gone I'd say it's only a matter of time.
We'll see what happens when The Others Ones
(The Dead sans Garcia) live CD is a commercial disaster.
BTW I'm suprised Michael Jackson hasn't licensed out any
Beatles tunes as far as I know, which, as hard at it is to
say, I admire him for. Ooh, that hurt.
