What "favorite" song of YOURS has been "sullied" by Corporate America?

For me, the beginning of the END began in the 1970's when the Heinz Company started using Carly Simon's hit song, "Anticipation" to promote the thickness of their ketchup.

At the time, this "advertising ploy" was extremely effective for Heinz, but in the aftermath, a truly good song was forever RUINED by this association. I say "ruined" because we all know how songs can strike an extremely personal and emotional chord and are linked to specific memories.

LATELY IT HAS GOTTEN WAY OUT OF HAND.

Today's Advertising Agencies, devoid of any real creative talent, are peddling their pseudo-innovative product campaigns to equally uninspired Corporate Heads who eagerly greenlight these mundane attempts at product promotion.

As a consumer, this is a forum to vent your opinions on the GROWING trend of Commercials that utilize such cheap$$$ and UNcreative methods to "hook" the American Public on their product. I SAY TO THEM--- IT'S NOT WORKING AND IF I HEAR ONE MORE OF MY FAVORITE MEMORIES RUINED BY THESE BOZOS, I'll... I'LL... well I did it--I'LL START FORUMS EVERYWHERE ON THE INTERNET!! (So how do you "boys" like THAT ADVERTISING!!!???)

CORPORATE AMERICA MUST STOP THE BASTARDIZATION OF OUR FAVORITE SONGS!!!!
