I got some new SW for a neat little product i'm messing with and my ole piece-a-junk cd-rom drive won't read it.

Time for that Creative DXr2 kit..!!
(it reads cd-r stuff right??)

LG Unveils 4X DVD Rom Drive

LG Electronics Inc. has developed a 4X DVD (digital versatile disk) Rom drive with a 5,400 kilo-byte data processing
rate, four times faster than existing products.

LG said it will export $7.7 million of the new products to the United States this year, expanding it to $100 million next
year and $200 million in 2000.

LG estimated the world market of 4X DVD Rom drive at 5 million units this year and 4.8 million units by the year
2000.
