Hello Tom and All, I can't resist your little contest, however one could have made a lot of money doing the opposite of what seems obvious to me. If my first thought is "the market will be down tomorrow", you can rest assured a major rally is at hand. After reading and listening to all the "talking heads" the past 2 days, I am amazed at the abrupt flip-flopping of market sentiment. Using the theory that September is traditionally the weakest month of the year, I have come up with the following guesses. Please do not construe them as "educated". DJIA 7592 NAS 1527 S&P 964 30 Yr Yld. 5.21% Russell 372 I hope I am not right in forecasting "a few more percent on the downside", but I am starting to think that anything is possible. One of the main things that drew me to AIM was the fact that after years of watching the market obsessively, I still find it difficult to predict short term direction. Thank goodness for the system.
