<<If God indeed gave us our nature the way it is now, why then do we die? How does death fit in with His acceptance of our imperfect behavior? >>

In other words you view death as punishment for our sins? that we would be eternal beings if we lived without sin? Are not our souls eternal? If they are, does that not mean that we arent being punished for sin, because we are indeed eteranl afterall?

<<Because of death we realize that redemption is required. God provided a substitute death -- a "lamb", if you will. The death of an innocent is given to pay for the death of the guilty.>>

Why would god set a precedent of sacrifice as a form of justice? If God can achieve anything(which he can) why would he choose the slaughter of an innocent as a form of redemption? Wouldnt unconditional love of all, including the innocnet, be a much more "godlike" decision?

I would be interested in your thoughts on this.
