As soon as this gets corrected(my liquid value is still messed up), I'm transfering over to the brokerage at Atlanta Internet Bank(NTBK), their not the cheapest, but I'm switching my brick and mortar accounts to them also. Like 5% interest on my checking, +lots more.(Sorry, not a spam, but a plug)....

To be objective, I have received some good info. from brokerages at Waterhouse, and Brown&Co. also.

But the bottom line, I'm closing my AMTD acct. ASAP!

Problem with Ameritrade

The problem with the firm is that it is spending millions in
advertising to attract more customers, instead of spending the
sum on upgrading the not-too-reliable and slow system. I have just
canceled my plan of opening a very large account with the firm. In
many ways -- from its back office accounting to its Chairman's public
statement -- are just not building my confidence in the firm.
