Chris, I'm sorry, but I could only read the first few sentences of this post (# 5053) before I had to respond. A Business Plan (BP) is the Road Map of any business. That is a document that is shared with a very limited number of people. 1. Management Team ........ The BP gives them direction. 2. Your Funding Source .... The BP proves you know what you are doing (Banker or VC) and provides bench marks from which you will be measured. 3. Your Accountant ........ Planning your tax liability, capital sources, and other vital financial data. 4. Your Attorney .......... Contracts and keeping your ass out of jail. If anyone on my management team or advisory council allowed a copy of the BP to be seen by anyone else, they would be looking for another job before they took another breath. And, they better find them self a damn good attorney. This is not an opinion, it is GOSPEL!! ......-jp
