Mohan and Greg:
I was wrong about any loans to support the brokers. Had a long discussion with the broker, he don't want me to say much, so
will simply say the government can and will be a stock buyer when there are no civilian(hehehe) buyers for major stocks(Dell being one).
Today with the market proceeding upwards on its own they would not be interfering which is very good news.
