Fwiw I am not arguing that the market shouldn't correct. But if these guys are manipulating it for political reasons why are we seeing such high level of insider buying. These are people using their own money?

Also re your referenced post. There are lots of people saying lots of things, that don't make them right. I can show you two references I saw this week that claim it wasn't Osman bin Laden who blew up the US embassies in Africa. It was the French trying to warn US miltinationals not to challenge French commercial interests in their former colonies. I can link this, does it make it plausible?
