Canadians are not allowed to solicite in the US for investors. WellRich went out of business on May 21,1997. After Peter Shurer left. And they were doing business after that and the State of California S.E.C shut them down in September 1997, because they were acting as a broker dealer. The investors were all US investors. If I were an investor i'd be calling the NASD and the S.E.C to see if their representations were correct and accurate.

A search of NASD Regulation yields no hits for "Wellrich". I didn't expect there would be any - as has already been pointed out, they have no association with the NASD. They are, of course, subject to SEC enforcement actions. However, a search of the SEC site also yielded no mention of any enforcement action against Wellrich. The "California SEC" unfortunately doesn't have a search tool for their enforcement actions (they do have a 'news' page, but it only contains 1998 enforcement actions*). However, if anyone wishes to follow-up with them, here is a web page with information on how to contact the California Department of Corporations:

corp.ca.gov

>>How can they sell securities if they are not a registered member of the NASD? <<

Why did AZNT give them shares to sell if they weren't registered to sell securities ? It seems that AZNT has a lousy history of hiring people to work for them. In what way are you and Ichabod compensated ?
