That is my point. They will not allow it to tank. Even if that means they will isolate their market from the global market or impose different regulations. Look at Chinese RMB, they poured in Billions and Billions of their reserve into the currency. They have a huge trade surplus with US that allow them to do that. It's funny that actually it's money from US that helped RMB and in turn the situation in SE asia. When Clinton was in China, I know there is not going to be any resolution w.r.t. trade deficit because Chinese government NEED the money to do what Clinton want them to do - hold RMB steady.
