I have come to the conclusion that this is the best thread on SI -- printed and will try your recipe, but we didn't do spinach this year, so will sub swiss chard leaves and let you know what happens!

Am headed into the kitchen in a little bit to do lamb - a great manager's special on boned leg of... sliced off some and have it marianating in mustard, garlic, rosemary and cabernet. Going to sear it , and throw in some of those zillions (it seems like) plum tomatoes exploding in the garden. Can't wait (why am I posting here?) Like you said, at this time of year everything is tomatoes. Last night, just fresh, sliced with basil and mozarella. Lunch, made pizza (yeah, fresh dough - it's easy, and better than anything delivered or bought) and threw chopped tom's (with basil and oregano from the garden) anchovies and artichoke hearts on it with a bunch of cheeze... sooo good.

I'm making myself hungry, better go do the lamb (tomorrow I'm going to grind what's left of the little leg I got and make stuffed zuchinni (I mentioned I have a problem with them dying away, this is the last!!!) sort of greek style (the secret is using cloves, cinnamon and lemon in with the meat).

TOOOO much... got to get into the kitchen.
