AMD Investors: Yousef said "I would be willing to bet that AMD will not have a 400mhz K6 by the last day of October '98 and a 450mhz K6 by the last day of January '99 ... Of course these need to be available at the ChipMerchant, not just some AMD pre-announcement. <ggg>" This is good news. Yousef our process expert thinks AMD will ship 400MHz as early as November and the 450MHz as early as February. I buy that. Thus by Nov. AMD will be full 50MHz behind Intel. Intel better release their 500MHz by February or else AMD will be at par with Intel and drive Intel out of business by selling the 450MHz for $200. I think our Yousef is no longer taking AMD lightly.
