Are you saying you think the allegations in the article are false? Or just that they shouldn't have been mentioned?

What would an "objective" account of this look like, in your opinion?

Melanie,

>>Red Herring has always been very anti-microsoft and very pro sun especially when they interview on CNNfn.

The article was about what was recorded in an official deposition under oath; how is this subjective to a Red Herring interpretation? Either Microsoft destroyed evidence or it did not.

Cheers,

Norm

Melanie,

Let me understand this...

You say Red Herring is not professional because they are exposing the bad news coming out of the court proceedings. But all the Industry rags that print pro-MSFT propaganda for fear that their MSFT advertising dollar will be cut if they dont are considered to be good professional papers?

Let me ask you one more question - can you disprove any of the information that this paper has printed about MSFT's court proceedings? If you cant, then why not just sit back and be prepared for more of this news because once the trial really gets started then - in your eyes - there will be countless more media that will become unprofessional for printing bad news about MSFT's wrong-doings.

That's a real pity that as a professional magazine they
don't try to be more objective >>

Once again, people on this thread are slamming other people instead of commenting directly on their ideas. Whatta shame.

>>Red Herring has always been very anti-microsoft...try to be more objective<<

Can anyone think of a publication that is 'objective'? No, and that's because 'objective' is a relative term.

'Objective' means in this context, I believe, 'if you agree with me you are objective. If you disagree with me... then you are not objective.'
