We were in Colorado last week and rode the Cumbres & Toltec. I was impressed in so many ways. The scenery, the little track winding around sharp turns with 1200 foot vertical drops, the employees who were so helpful, the engineer who taught me how to dynamic brake with a steam engine. (We also went to the the Alligator Farm ! near Alamosa.) The temperature at that altitude is cool. Getting there and back by car is pretty hot. See ya all in Sacramento this week. 246810
