I'm opening this forum for discussions on any topic having to do with railroads, toy trains, railroad stocks, train travel et cetera.

My brother is a Lionel fanatic, I am a Indian train travel fanatic and my kids are toy train fanatics.

Three topics are of particular interest to me at the moment:

1. I am friends with a principle of the investment firm which bought the Lionel company a couple of years ago and am eagerly looking forward to a possible IPO.

2. I am beginning to think about making plans for my 50th birthday celebration aboard a private railcar on a train in South India. Still 7 1/2 years off, thankfully.

3. I am buying GRTS - The Great Train Store - which on poor earnings lately is down to $3.50 from a high of $10. It's a very well run store, with excellent and smart management. 26% owned by the chairman and founder. 40 stores in prime locations. Great mercahndise selection. They have got to be thinking about a website. Go KTEL! of trains.

Everyone is welcome. Please come in.

Peter
