Hi William:

Not really a nite owl, but being in the Pacific time zone makes it seem that way.

I'll answer your question as to when the DD sector may recover with a question: When will Asia settle down and begin to turn around?
It doesn't seem possible for most tech related stocks to grow until Asia begins recovery.

Looking at a group of 34 storage device stocks showed that SEG was off its 52 week high by 55%. This was the 7th best performance of stock off their highs. Not a very healthy group considering 27 were worse than 55% off.

It's unlikely SEG will break out of the group and, in fact, is trending negative. My charts show Bollinger at 28 so your info appears accurate. I am a novice at TA, but can confirm bearish MACD and Stochastic. I am convinced it will remain in a trading range through the next 2 quarters, unless we exceptional upside earnings surprise, which is unlikely.

This one will require patience, but I do expect a reward for the wait.
