Yes, Alan....Danielle is in the Atlantic and Earl popped up rather suddenly in the Gulf of Mexico...it was supposed to hit New Orleans and then took a rather unpredicted turn and headed straight for the Panama City Beach area, hit there early in the morning...lost a lot of punch so was only a level 1 when it hit land and has been down graded to a tropical storm...but hey so was Opel when it hit us a few years ago..I've never heard wind howl like it did that night. I understand I will be 20-30 miles north of the storm...hehehehe...but I do have my table lamp on and the sky does have that really strange gray color.....just hope the winds don't pick up as we do live in a tornado alley
