This is an evolving process for me as far as day trading is concerned both in terms of entries and exits. I would love to have a completely mechanical system that takes out all of the emotion and hopefully I'll be able to develop something at some point.

In the meantime, I have taken the approach of taking some profits off the table when I see a potentially large move in the offing with a break-even stop on the other half--the latter is really based on the suggestions of Pat, Steve and in his own inimitable way Nemer. Tough to transition from a position trading mindset to a day trading one that looks to scalp a few points.
