I need to redeem my reputation in the next stud contest ...
This is a real disaster ...
I am starting to taste like chicken too ...

Anything less than the top 5 is purely unacceptable ...
but thanks for the honorable mention ...

Gump-man:

some suggestions for the next contest :

October 1st through December 31st ...
whoever is first after close of 1st month get a prize
whoever is first after close of 2nd month get a prize
whoever is first after close of last month get grand prize ...

I think you should restrict it to 5 dollars or more
because people will stock up with low price stocks because
of their exaggerated movement, we should try to make the
picks closer to a real life portfolio than just trying to make
a gamble out of 5 stocks ...

Forget the whole business of bid vs ask on the opening day. Go with End of day price start to finish.

I believe that this was the source of many of the errors and misunderstandings from the beginning. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

My 2 cents

Tom

Since many brokerages and some exchanges don't allow shorting a stock below $5. in price; that may be a rule to consider.
