Maybe the Dems want to get AG in there so they will have an incumbent in office?

I wonder if some of these congresspeople know what is in the Starr rpt, if there is true corruption (read: not sex) then it does indeed look bad...

That is truly bad news for the President. First, Lieberman has a great reputation for integrity and effectiveness. Second, he is from a state that is basically moderate to liberal Democratic, so if he's hearing it from his constituents, you better stop believing the polls about the President's popularity and start worrying about who's next. Two other moderate-to-liberal Democrats, Moynihan and Kerrey (Nebraska), were right behind Lieberman, so Hillary can't blame this on the vast right wing conspiracy -- or can she? Apparently, truth is very low on the totem pole in this White House's list of priorities.
