Darrell,
Hi!!!

Re: Your well worded post...

Ain't this propaganda amazin'.....?? You said that so well....I just have to keep it simple....

IF YOU'RE SMART.....BUY DELL NOW....BUY ALL YOU CAN

Guaranteed sometime shortly after Labor Day the releases will come flying out of nowhere...PC GROWTH IS EXPLODING....DELL HAS TO HIRE HALF OF CHINA FOR THE NEXT DECADE....SECOND PLANT IN CHINA STILL NOT ENOUGH...DELL TO BUILD A THIRD ...yeah, down to under a 100 and I'm upset....no money...gotta stop this addiction of buying Dell on Michael's good news....wait until the fools sell it and then BUY ON MICHAEL'S GOOD NEWS.....etc...

Best, kemble

Darrell,

True, the communications and computing industry is VERY young. However, you made the point about not being able to use your telephone without a computer...which although true...is a different computer than what DELL is selling. Soon every home will have a number of IP based devices with computing capbility built into them. These networked devices include TV's, Telephones, security systems, telemetry systems, and much more. PC's will be relegated to true computing needs...not web access. Web access will migrate to video systems such as that being sold today by WebTV. The PC will be a applications device (word processing, check writing, spreadsheets, etc.) as opposed to THE SERVICE. I hope that makes sense. So, in this scenario the PC as we know it becomes useful only as computing platform. I wonder how many computers are purchased where the main use is web access.
