I am so very sad for your nation's lack of vision as well, Marcos, I truly am. Whenever there is a fire, gold just gits purer and paper goes poof. And a currency fire is DEFINITELY underway.

Fortunately your great adopted land has tremendous gold resources, which they may come to appreciate yet...

>Canada sold 128,000 ounces of gold in August,
boosting its foreign reserves by US$44 million<

Can someone please help me understand the math here?

As I see it:

US$44 million / 128,000 ounces = US$343.75/ounce

Where am I in error?

Regards,

Craig
