I don't see how lowering rates at this time would send the world into a depression, as your previous post stated. I think the bond market is sending a signal that rates should be eased. I think that many of the troubled world currencies would benefit from the fed easing. Likewise, the commodity markets would also benefit from a lowering of rates.

I don't see how lowering rates at this time would do the damage you have stated? I am very willing to learn and have my views challenged . I welcome your input.
