Glad to hear you trade the opening pop successfully. To each his own, I guess. Yesterday the HWP pop was too quick for me, but the pullback was good for a point, even tho I was late there as well.

Johnathan.. I'm starting to trade on some upgrades myself. Do you agree that different sectors and stocks react differently to an upgrade? Also I think that market climate on that day is important.

For example, an upgrade in the internet sector, IMHO, will transcend anything else and the stock will go north nicely. LCOS was up quite a bit one day this week and I held it through a nice gain about 8% then sold. Only to watch another big increase the next day. ELNK..had a 24% increase after its upgrade..

When TOL was upgraded it was up beyond the 10% it rose after the earnings report, same thing with LEN. AVEI same thing there, VTSS, QLGC to name a few that rose nicely after the upgrade and that's just from July that I recall. Lately I'm paper trading a lot of them and follow them for a while.
