Since when was something not true because someone was making a living? It certainly explains his motivation, true. What did you mean when you said "it explains a lot"? A lot of what?

Have you ever written a resume before? Didn't you do it to get a job and make money? Did people say, "Oh, you want MONEY from us? Well that explains a lot then."

Mike

Witness testifies on alleged Microsoft shredding of DR-DOS documents zdnet.com

Book sale hype? Maybe, Mr. K. This story doesn't actually confirm what was said, it just gives the witness a name. We'll see in due time. Anyway, I always get confused when minions of the masters of megahype marketing cry foul at other people's feeble attempts at emulation.

A former Microsoft Corp. marketing official was deposed last week by Caldera Inc. lawyers regarding her alleged knowledge of the destruction of potential evidence in the Caldera vs. Microsoft antitrust case, according to sources.

Stefanie Reichel, a former Microsoft Germany account manager, was deposed last week, confirmed Steve Hill, an attorney with Salt Lake City-based Snow, Christensen and Martineau, one of Caldera's three law firms involved in the case. Hill declined to comment on the line of questioning, citing protective order restrictions.

Cheers, Dan.

mrknowitall,

>>Can we all say "book sales hype" three times? This is the second such article they have printed in dribbling out the teasers for the book - so expect more of the same.

Sort of like all those WindowsNT 5.0 articles that have impregnated all known media avenues for years now. How about those teasers such as "improved security", "scalability", and "clustering technology". Sadly, the whole personal computing industry seems to be built on hype.

Cheers,

Norm
