Appears to me we have a trend change. Will start looking at the long side a bit closer.

That would baffle all those that expect a dump in the final hour today...but it would make sense. If today is thin, most of the people that would have wanted to be out of positions, already are. That means the momentum could go either way....or sideways.

Kiri--I placed my stop at 980 initially and lowered it to 976 after it went down to the 970 level the second time. When it would not break -- I just got out at market.

One of the things that I have learned since I started day-trading, is that when scalping it needs to work out relatively quickly or else it is better to bail.

If I had exited half the posn at my target price then I'd have lowered the stop on the other half to break-even.
