<<<The company has not announced a share buyback. I personally prefer that this NOT happen.>>>

I think you don't have to worry about that. It looks ridiculous
if the company announces a s stock buyback when the offices filed
to sell.

<<<Estimated buyout price based on PEG of
30% x estimated '99 EPS (30 x $0.85).>>>

I throw in my towel for a high teen!

Rain,

Thanks yet again for your analysis and for making this thread come alive. While waiting for the stock to make its run, it's enjoyable to hang out on a thread that generates some top-notch analysis. I hope I can contribute something as well.

Enjoy the weekend,
Gary Korn

Buy out rumors are unrealistic at the present time. The acquiror's stockholders would not be happy if it paid more than about 50% - 80% premium which would be $12-15 at today's prices. Would PAIR shareholders' and management be happy with this price? I think not. Technology acquisitions must be "friendly" to work. If PAIR can recover to teens on it own a takeout at $20 would be possible. Of course, I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen in the short term as we are coming from extremely oversold conditions and the general market should get a bounce soon as the "big caps" have finally had their day in the toilet.
