John,

I read the same article on David Tice. My question is why do they tout these short sellers as hero's now. I know it is fashionable to write about bears and short sellers now because of the current market environment, but when they listed Tice's returns compared to the S&P, they are horrible!

He is still down 5% for the year and he has only made money in the last month. He was down 15-20% last year with the S&P +30%. He is my hero? Go figure!

MileHigh

PS- I have no problem with shorters, just make money at it!

John - Re: "Intel, but what people still don't
realize is that it'll be lucky if it only drops to 40 -- "

My guess is that $40/share is the point where Fleckenstein started shorting Intel 3 or 4 years ago.

He's praying like crazy Intel drops back to that level so he can convert huge paper losses into a break-even situation or profit.
