Tim A. Thanks to you and to Jim for unearthing the Senate action. Now if I only knew what it means. :-) Also what about the Executive Branch position? Any clues what that might be? Must admit I am more confused than ever. What with the sky falling and the US supporting multiple standards while Europe and Japan (?) support only W CDMA, my long Q optimism is being tested. If the world is going to Hell in a handbasket and Uncle Sam is not fighting to support the Q against the Europeans, what is the long term future for the Q? Yes near term earnings into 1999 should improve but then what? Puzzled. Hope some wiser head has some means of putting this in perspective. Chaz
