Bill, I admit that I did not "educate you" on the Bush affair--and I apologize for saying that--, but I think we're going to have a difference of opinion on whether the affair existed or not. I know enough about what I heard from people I trust to know that it is true. Of course, I will not be able to prove it to you or to the thread, and apparently neither was Conanson, but just because it is not confirmable by the media does not mean that it isn't true. I told you what I know about it, and I know that certain reputable news organizations were confident enough on its factual basis to report it while others were not. I think therefore, you're wrong to call it a "myth" but you're entitled to your opinion.

I think it is especially ironic that there is so much indignant fury on this thread about my statements of Bush's affair, when at the same time people are citing the Drudge Report and Free Republic as truth--media outlets which have no standards for truth and reporting. So continue to live in your fantasy worlds where Ron Reagan and George Bush are saints and Bill Clinton is fathering mixed race children and killing Vince Foster. But don't lecture me about spreading rumors then.

Doughboy.
