TLM goes up and AKSEF goes down? and Volume on AKSEF has fallen way off of average. This is beginning to bother me. Obviously AKSEF shareholders will vote For merger. But can TLM shareholders veto merger?
Ed, I know you have had contact with Arakis. Have you (or has anyone? Zeev?) had contact with Talisman (TLM)??
I thought this was a "done deal" when TLM loaned AKSEF $22 million for collateral of 22 million shares of AKSEF. What if TLM takes their 22 million shares (which is 1/4 of all AKSEF shares) and says that is enough "Sudan exposure" for now? TLM would go up (because TLM shareholders did not like deal anyway) and Then TLM (Buckee) could "LOAN" another 22 million dollars for collateral of another 22 million shares.? Guess we still have a $1. "floor", but how sure is (arbitrage) profit?
Mostly just thinking out loud here (in print?<g>)
Anybody else?
Dan
