Once again the person you found seems to be more of a loser than a hypester. Hypesters are usually naive (small-time hypesters) or crooked (big-time hypesters). They either push stocks on SI because they own some shares and think they can make the stock go up by hyping it or they are in need of recognition or fame (small-time hypesters). Sometimes they will hype stocks on SI because they own a ton of cheap stock and they are trying to suck in investors into buying their stock at inflated prices (big-time hypesters).

The difference between a loser and a small-time hypester is often very subtle. I guess small-time hypesters most of the time are also losers, but not all loser is a small-time hypester. In fact I have come across some very nice small-time hypesters. I have communicated privately with them and they have turned out to be ordinary people. The GPW thread is full of them.

Keep up the good detective work. Some times like the one you pointed out can quickly turn into hypesters. Beware.
