It is with great pleasure and sometimes laughter that I have been reading some of Silicon Investors most active BB threads over the last few months. I think everyone remembers BIG DOG's memorable post about a presidential comment on the CYGS thread, Jay Abella's classic comments about a short position on the NRT thread and the general hysteria that set-in on the MTEI thread after the company announced it had a book-value of $2.85 per share.

As most of you know I have been writing with interest for months about hypesters and promotions, spending several hours a week describing their techniques and exposing the nature of their activities. Most of the stocks I research and write about come from leads sent to me by concerned investors. Thanks to all of you.

Since BB hype and promotion is a real problem and given the fact that promoters and scammers sometimes use SI to suck people into buying worthless securities I am today creating this thread as a way for all investors to fight back:

1) Expose all hypesters here.

2) Provide a link to at least two posts where hype or lies were used to mislead investors.

3) Special awards will be given out to participants who find and post promotional statements that are from the "Classic Moments on SI" nature, such as BIG DOG's initial hype on the CYGS thread.
