Hiram, interesting article, thanks.

>>But Colburn also owns four Data Doctors stores, where he displays and sells SpeedChoice.<<

That statement alone is enough to make me look jaundiced at the whole article, and it is an obvious flaw in journalistic approach, IMO, if the article was intended to be informative.

One thing that pops to mind here is that there is talk about homes and businesses, but no mention anywhere about schools, libraries, or other municipal entities, for whatever reason. Do these social principles work only on politically-timed interrupts, and only for certain players during election years? Curious, Frank C.

Hiram,

I have a question for you or anyone here:

I need to set up a dedicated line (frame relay) of 64kbps that connects my server to an Internet backbone.

I was told the Internet backbone connection will cost me $205 per month;
the leased line will cost $152.00 (PacBell)and the frame relay service will cost $135.00 (PacBell). Therefore this comes to be $492 a month.

Are there better rates available? Do I have to buy new equipment?

THanks,

Steve
