Justa, you have a good idea. Maybe Brinker can post a transcript on the Brinker Web Site. Just like NBR does for their interviews.

Take care, and again, thanks for the hard work that you and Lars have done, and are doing for this thread.

Justa, Re:"a psychological positive"

I think you hit the nail on the head relative to Greenshades comments.
I don't think there will be a market let down if he does not lower rates at the next meeting - for a couple of reasons.

One: he stopped short of saying he would. And two, I believe some of the affect we may be seeing in the market today (& in the near future) is due the fact that there is relief that the Fed may no longer be leaning toward a rate hike - but rather either be staying neutral or leaning toward a cut.

My guess is that the Fed will not move on rates at the next meeting, but continue to monitor the situation. Then, my guess is for 1 quarter point reduction at the following meeting.

That's my 2 cents worth on the subject. (Tell Lars not to send me any change from my 2 cents - but rather apply it to defraying the costs of the market timer clapper development).

** Market Summary **

Rally brought to you by Al and, perhaps, Andrea <G>.

Strong open; a little retrenchment; then an even stronger close. Nice, nice baby.

If you could figure out what news is in the market and what has yet to be discounted you would be a very rich.

It is now well past Labor day. Are we at DOW 10,000 yet? Joe Granville said we were supposed to be there by now. Where are you Joe? Why aren't you in my face on television? I want Joe. Bring him on!
