Some comments from some other experts (not us) -

>But the psychological impact of such a shift in Fed policy could be
dramatic, as Tuesday's run-up on Wall Street can attest.<

Yesterday will be a very hard act to follow. Without some good news for a change, market more likely to start to move down to test recent lows soon.

Near term news could be dominated by negatives including - Clinton debacle, Russian government anarchy, & perhaps the one with the most affect in this nervous market: "pre-earnings" warning season. And lets face it, when all the internal/external "noise" subsides, it is earnings - & the prospects for earnings that drive the market.

By the way, what's Bob's latest guesstimate on 3Q/4Q earnings? Anyone hear him address earnings prospects last weekend?

P.S.- Also some early commentary on Bank of Japan lowering rates
