As you may know current 'democracy' of Russia is in many way more unjust than the Soviet communist model. Most of economic benefits accrue to less than 200 or so of 'Oligarchs' who control resources and trades. The majority of Russians are terribly impoverished by this 'free market' model which is closer to rule by thieves than democracy. The current government is doomed. It is just a matter of time. What Russia needs is not democracy but a military dictatorship strong enough to distribute wealth more equitably to build a basis for a free economy. This kind of 'right' military rule worked wonders in countries like Taiwan, South Korea, and Chile. I believe former General Alexander Lebed is such a man. He is a Russian patriot with plenty of common sense. Besides he may be the only figure who can muster majority popular support to build a stable government. He can basically follow the footsteps of Pinochet of Chile to rebuild Russian economy from ground up. Bring on those Chicago boys!!!!
