jack---i "think" it was, "plop, plop, fizz, fizz...." and it was that great alka-seltzer commercial about "speecy, spicy meatballs."

i think the "tablet's" name was "speedy."

i, of course, don't remember any of this. i read about it somewhere!

Yeah, I remember those commercials! :-) But the first singing commercial on radio was done by "Man o' Manecheveitz... what a wine!" (I probably massacred the spelling! :-)
