There are bashers on this thread. And there are hypsters on this thread. When you take both of them away, you are still left with a core of people who would like to look at FNTN objectively , without preconceptions either of love or of hate. Who want facts and hard numbers to go on. Maybe some day we'll quit bashing the bashers and hyping the hypsters, or bashing the hypsters and hyping the bashers, and get back to the basic questions any investment should , IMHO, be based on: 1. What is this company about? 2. What products or services is it selling or does it plan to sell? 3. What is its financial condition? 4. Can the products or services it is providing be produced profitably? 5. Can this company produce the products or services profitably? Does it have the financial and management resources? 6. Who are the customers? Why will they buy this? 7. What are the alternatives to this product or service? Why is this product or service a better choice than the alternatives? (Is it technically better, and does the technical difference matter in the real world? Is it cheaper? Is it simpler and cheaper to maintain?) 8. Who provides the alternatives to this product or service? That is, who are the competitors? How will they react to this company growing at their expense? There are other basic questions, but so far these ones haven't been answered here yet. Without knowing this, what's the point of either hyping or bashing except to people who own the stock and want it to go up (hypers) or people who don't own the stock and either want it to go down so they can buy it cheaper or have shorted it (bashers). Why would anybody play their games by keeping on and on about bashing and hyping behavior without addressing the fundamental questions? The simplest way to get rid of both bashers and hypsters is to get facts on the table. In the face of sufficient facts, neither hypsters nor bashers will be taken seriously. Both exist only in the absence of facts, where rumors, accusations, yelling, are the available currency. SO, I suggest to everyone here who objects to the hyping or the bashing -- lets go get some FACTS. Not opinions, not just saying BIG PICTURE (which I, for one, am even more sick of hearing that I am of hearing about sex in the White House). FACTS. Anybody got any to offer???
