I think that he said the he had advised his subscribers to go short on Friday morning in which case they will have been clobbered.

Interesting thing about the way the futures behave nowadays is that we see these huge gaps both up and down--quite unlike the way it used to be. I assume that it is the effect of globalization--but this action reminds me a lot of the way the currency futures act where the bulk of the move often occurs on the open.

Market breadth is very impressive today--and if it can close at these levels it must argue for higher prices, at least in the short term

Well I am with you as far as day-trading on the long side.
