I think the point of the article should be taken seriously. If this suit takes hold and people are brought to court, a precedent will be set. The first big question will be do web sites offer total anonymity or are names available from the data bases in legal proceedings? If the thread name disguise if ripped off, threads like this will be great places to share information and talk about latest releases and form opinions, but maybe not a place to beat up a company because you're pissed about losing your investment. It will be interesting how this plays out.
