which is , simply a triply smoothed moving average - just takes out some of the mkt noise

It was referred to in an issue of STOCKS & COMMODITIES about a year ago.

Jerry - the MAV isn't going to work here , since the volume isn't reported in the SPX /OEX data

Took it off.

The data feed was out and I did not notice.

Out at 96.50 for a 550 point loss. That messes up the averages, I can tell you.
