David, I believe that stories like these are planted by Weyrich or Limbaugh or whomever (it's unclear from your post who wrote the article). They make the President look bad, and they have absolutely no truth. Do you really think the President or Lindsey would ever think that it would be politically viable to declare Clinton unable to discharge his powers and duties because he is a sex addict? Please. While it is highly unlikely that the President would ever resign, it is unthinkable that he would ruin his life and whatever reputation he had remaining by declaring himself equivalent to an invalid. In any event it is not clear whether the 25th Amendment would act to side-track an impeachment proceeding. I think this is simply a way of making the President and his aides seem unprincipled without having to have any factual basis to make the accusation.
