Even the letter writers who praise Microsoft are using propagandistic language that reflects poorly on Microsoft. One writer defending the company called it "brutally competitive," as if this pathology were a good thing.

Something to think about for the pseudo-Darwinists here: after the above quote, Dvorak proceeds to demonstrate why being brutally competitive is actually a bad thing.
